Determination Top Tips

  • Make A List Of The Things You Want To Achieve

Writing them out in front of you can often help you realise your key goals.

  • Hold Yourself Accountable

Look back at this list every month or so and see how much closer you’ve gotten to achieving your goals.

  • Remember Why You Started

When things get tough, which they likely will, remember why you wanted this to begin with and use that to drive you forward.

  • Live For The Little Wins

Just because you are aiming for one big goal doesn’t mean you can’t celebrate the stepping stones along the way.

  • Tell Someone

Share with a friend or family member what you are working for. Often talking about your goal can reignite the drive within you and make you excited to keep going.

  • Focus On The Long-Term Goal

Things might distract you along the way but try and remain focussed on the final destination.

  • Forgive Yourself When Things Go Wrong

It won’t always be easy and you may trip up along the way. Know that this is okay, remain determined and keep going. Set back or not, you’re closer now than you were before you started.

  • Find Creative Solutions

No obstacle is unconquerable, sometimes it’s just about finding a new and unique way to overcome it. Believe in yourself, follow you heart and be creative!

  • Give Yourself Breaks

Being determined doesn’t mean you need to work 24/7. Set yourself boundaries, give yourself rest days and don’t feel bad about this! Sometimes we need time to re-fuel before we set off again.

  • Picture The Day You Achieve Your Goal

Keep pushing and you will get there. Imagine how good it will feel and use that to drive you on when it gets hard.
