Letter To Your Younger Self

Grace Millar - Creative Performer/Life Coach

I went to Bird College (part of Greenwich University) – grad of 2020. I am a creative/performer/life coach.

Dear younger Grace,

Wow. Just how different your life is now. I am not even sure where to start. You have still got so much to uncover, learn and do. However, you have come so flipping far.

Firstly, I am so sorry about what you are going through. Secondary school is extremely cruel, believe me I know. I understand life isn’t that fun for you… but if you don’t go through this, you won’t be able to become the beautiful woman you now are.

You are soon guided by the most inspirational woman who takes you on a journey of self growth and love. Don’t be scared, be open and let go. Let go of all the fear and stress you’ve been holding. It gets better, a lot better.

“Remember to keep smiling. Keep dancing. Keep breathing.”

Keep watching the stars at night. Your sadness soon fades and happiness now shines into your life.

If I could give you one piece of advice… please keep creating. You ARE creative and do not let ANYBODY tell you otherwise. You have a gift, a voice. So use it. Express how you feel. Write it down. Make a video, even if it is AWFUL. Don’t give a damn what anybody else thinks about it, because it is authentically you and that is the most incredible thing anyone can do.

I won’t lie and say life is easier. Life is difficult. But, soon you see the beauty in it. Find fun where you can and live in every moment. Laugh and cry with your friends. Hug your family. Hold onto these moments. You go through some pretty hard stuff, but you are stronger. More powerful. Believe in yourself.

I love you so much and I cannot wait for you to see who you become. It is beautiful and I am so proud of you. You are so inspiring and have affected so many people’s lives in such a positive way. Power through and use your voice.

Big love,

21 year old Grace

P.S. stop caring about what boys think, their opinion is irrelevant!!!!
